Bill Martin comes from a sheep farming background. Before joining the BHU, Bill was Head of School at the School of Horticulture, CPIT. Prior to, and in conjunction with this, he studied organic agriculture at the University of California, Santa Cruz and operated an organic home delivery business in the Christchurch region.
Bill’s career includes being on the Board of the NZ Horticulture Industry Training Organisation. Bill was employed to set up and manage the Organic Training College in 2007.
