Home to the Zero Fees Scheme, they are the only tertiary provider in Aotearoa New Zealand to offer a no-tuition cost education to domestic ākonga (students) for study at all levels. They offer SIT programmes at campuses in Invercargill, Queenstown, Gore, and online through SIT Online Learning.

The BHU Future Farming Centre

The BHU Future Farming Centre is dedicated to the science and extension of permanent and whole-system agricultures and horticultures, such as organic agriculture, ecological agriculture, agroecology, and biological farming, for the benefit of all farmers and growers.

The FFC has three main areas of activity: research, extension and consulting, thus offering farmers and growers all the services they need to help them optimise their production systems.
