The BHU Future Farming Centre offers a wide range of consulting services covering all aspects of permanent / sustainable / ecological / regenerative and organic agriculture and horticulture.
This service is provided by our in-house staff and associates, and the FFC can also call on its very extensive network of New Zealand and international colleagues and partner research institutions, where additional / specialist expertise is required.
Areas the FFC can help with include, for example:
- Becoming certified organic, both the production and ‘paperwork’ sides;
- Technical assistance on all production issues, e.g., pest, disease and weed management, fertiliser and soil management, general crop and livestock production;
- Technical analysis and reports.
The FFC is also a science provider so problems that require more than ‘off-the-shelf’ advice can be addressed by research.
